Technology to Optimize Order Fulfillment

The strategic application of advanced technology paves the way for our order fulfillment solutions. From robust systems to robotics and automation, we’ll identify the optimal technology to ensure efficient, accurate and cost-effective operations.

Robotics and Automation

We’ve invested in a variety of robotics solutions to help increase productivity, reduce labor dependency and accommodate fluctuations in order volume.

  • Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) minimize the time associates spend walking in the warehouse and allow them to focus their energy on order picking.
  • Goods-to-person robotics (GTP) also increase efficiency while maximizing storage density and enhancing sequencing and scheduling capabilities.
  • We’re always exploring new and emerging technologies such as robotic arms, augmented reality visual picking and more.

Automated fulfillment solutions and broad-scale mechanization also help speed order turnaround and delivery times.

Robust Systems

Our robust OMS gives you enterprise-wide visibility, the ability to pull from multiple fulfillment sources and accurate, real-time information about product availability and order status.

Our WMS manages client inventory and orders based upon embedded logic, driven by a range of operational rules set by each client. It will easily integrate with your ERP for better inventory transparency and tracking.

Our web-based, multi-modal TMS integrates easily with your systems and provides remarkable visibility. Live, web-based reporting helps track inventory and deliveries.

Our systems can integrate seamlessly with your current technologies. Our application protocol interface (API) facilitates your system’s integration with our WMS and OMS. In addition to order transmittal, APIs are available for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Advance ship notifications (ASNs)
  • Product and SKU set-up
  • Parcel execution
  • Inventory updates
  • Importing of shipment tracking numbers
  • Returns processing
Advanced technology improves accuracy and productivity, reduces labor needs and handles spikes in volume. Grady Martin, Sr. Vice President, Innovation and Engineering
