We want to give a shout out to Saddle Creek’s associates on the road. We’re fortunate to have 550 of the best truck drivers in the business.

Whether they serve on our dedicated fleets, regional services or local shuttles, our drivers deliver. They haul everything from food and beverages to building supplies to support our clients across the country.

We recently asked a few drivers to reflect on Saddle Creek’s promise to do Whatever It Takes! for our clients. From our newest recruit to our most tenured drivers, they are clearly dedicated to upholding our high standard of service excellence. Take a look…

David Grammar has been driving for Saddle Creek for over 20 years. After serving on one of our dedicated fleets for many years, he now provides local shuttle services for our Fort Worth campus.

~ Seth Jarmel

Seth Jarmel began driving for Saddle Creek in Lakeland, Fla., in 2019. He was quickly promoted to Driver Safety Coach. He works hard to ensure the safety of all our drivers.

I like to arrive early every day, so I can take my time with pre-trip inspections and review paperwork before I head out. Paying attention to details helps ensure quality service for our customers.”

Buddhi Tamang is Saddle Creek’s newest dedicated driver in Columbus, Ohio! Even after just two months on the job, it’s easy to see that she shares our commitment to giving 110%.

Doing Whatever It Takes! means putting safety first. I get plenty of rest and allow myself enough time to make my deliveries safely and on time. And I’m always friendly and courteous.”

Balanda Johnson has been driving for Saddle Creek in Atlanta, Ga., for 20 years. In that time, she has safely driven over two million miles.

Steve Jones joined Saddle Creek in Lakeland, Fla., six years ago, and he’s been dedicated to delivering baked goods ever since. He’s probably delivered more than 40 million loaves of bread!
