Less than 18 months ago, Brandless entered the ecommerce scene with the mission: “Better stuff, fewer dollars. It’s that simple.” The company sells hundreds of non-branded products for $3 each – everything from non-GMO and organic foods to cruelty-free personal care products.

To give consumers a firsthand look at its merchandise, the company launched a pop-up store in New York City last Wednesday. Over the course of 12 days, shoppers are invited to see, touch, taste and try a sampling of product offerings at #BrandlessLife Pop-Up with a Purpose NYC.

Timely, Accurate Fulfillment Streamlines Store Build Out

Setting up shop in a temporary brick-and-mortar location is no easy feat, so Brandless turned to Saddle Creek Logistics Services for logistics and fulfillment support.  The result?  Customers can interact with Brandless better-for-you products like never before.  For the first time, Brandless customers can enjoy tasting flight menus, a floor-to-ceiling snack wall, a fair-trade coffee cart, a clean beauty lounge, and more.

The 3PL fulfilled three separate orders, supplying most of the inventory needed for the pop-up shop as well as packaging and marketing supplies. All three LTL shipments were delivered on time with 100% accuracy.

Saddle Creek’s performance earned high praise from Brandless Director of Supply Chain Whitney Hodge, who raved, “You guys crushed it!! 100% fill rate on a 360-item order is outstanding and has made the store build out incredibly seamless and successful.”

Saddle Creek is already handling replenishment shipments, a strong sign that the pop-up shop is going strong.
