Direct-Selling Company Selects Saddle Creek for Fulfillment

Saddle Creek Logistics Services continues to expand its portfolio of direct-selling customers. Zurvita has selected the 3PL to manage fulfillment services for its popular health and wellness products.

Technology is an important element of Saddle Creek’s fulfillment solution for Zurvita. A sophisticated order management system (OMS) will ensure tighter integration, better visibility into operations, enhanced reporting and increased efficiency.

Because its business is both “auto-ship” and promotional-driven, Zurvita experiences significant spikes in order volume each month. Saddle Creek’s 1.3 million-square-foot campus in Fort Worth, Texas can scale to accommodate the peaks and valleys in space and labor requirements. It is also well-equipped to handle Zurvita’s extensive kitting needs.

While fulfillment will be handled from Fort Worth initially, the company’s nationwide network of facilities gives Zurvita the option to add additional locations in the future. “This new relationship helps us best serve the needs of our Customers and Consultants now and going forward,” said Mark Jarvis, president and founder of Zurvita.

Partnership Helps Zurvita Accommodate Growth

“We chose to partner with Saddle Creek because they’re experienced in providing order fulfillment for direct-selling companies, they have a great reputation, and they can scale to accommodate our growth – today and tomorrow,” said Tanya Frantz, vice president, supply chain and distribution at Zurvita. “Over the past five years, we’ve grown from $3 million to $100 million in revenue, and we’re planning for significant growth in 2017. Stepping up our game in fulfillment is critical.”

Direct-selling companies face unique fulfillment challenges,” said Jeff Jones, Saddle Creek vice president, business development. “Our growing portfolio of customers in this space speaks to our ability to provide solutions that can address those challenges while improving the customer experience – for both consultants and end consumers. We look forward to helping Zurvita achieve their goals for growth.”

Saddle Creek will begin managing fulfillment for Zurvita this summer.
