Distribution Supervisor
“Teamwork is a very important part of our daily operations. I can always count on our team to come together if we have big orders that need to get out ASAP. Having a great team makes our accounts very successful.”Danielle Bellar
With strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a customer focus, Danielle Bellar was the perfect candidate for a customer service opening at Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Roanoke, Texas. Her husband Adam, who worked there as a Maintenance Supervisor, knew she would be a natural fit for the role and recommended that she apply.
Danielle joined the company as a Customer Service Coordinator in November 2018 and was recently promoted to Lead Customer Service Coordinator. She now oversees a team of customer service associates and is responsible for training and supervision, performance evaluations and addressing issues as they arise.
In addition, Danielle provides customer service for three very diverse accounts of her own. Her clients’ products include children’s juices and bottled waters as well as vehicle lifts and shop equipment.
Danielle says that learning multiple accounts in a short amount of time has been one of her biggest accomplishments at Saddle Creek. She credits good training and a supportive work environment for helping her to master them quickly.
“The support and encouragement I get from my coworkers, supervisors, and managers makes me proud to work at Saddle Creek,” Danielle says. “Teamwork is a very important part of our daily operations. I can always count on our team to come together if we have big orders that need to get out ASAP. Having a great team makes our accounts very successful.”
Danielle admits that the job can be challenging at times, but she finds it rewarding to receive positive feedback from clients.
“One of my most memorable days at Saddle Creek was when a client visited our facility for physical inventory,” she remembers. “They told me how much they enjoyed working with us and how easy we make things run for them.”
Danielle plans to make her career at Saddle Creek and appreciates the potential for advancement at the company. Her goal is to become a supervisor and, eventually, a manager.
“I really enjoy working for Saddle Creek,” she explains. “My team feels like family.”
