History

In 1966, a chance conversation about the need for local warehouse space convinced David Lyons and a friend to build a 12,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Lakeland, Fla.

The small 3PL began by handling glass bottles and caps for the citrus industry. From there, the founders did whatever was necessary to grow the business – adding expert staff, new locations, advanced technology – always with an eye on delivering service excellence.

Over the years, we’ve broadened our customer base and strategically added new services:

• Expanding into transportation with a fleet of trucks and a brokerage operation
• Acquiring a contract packaging company to capitalize on growing demand for its services
• Expanding our geographic footprint with the purchase of a California 3PL
• Entering the growing order fulfillment market with the acquisition of a fulfillment company
